StaffConnections, LLC was established in 2001 by Terry A. Clark, AICP, PMP with a vision of providing quality professional services to people within public, private and nonprofit organizations in a respectful and values-based manner.

Terry A. Clark, AICP, PMP is Owner and Lead Consultant with StaffConnections, LLC.  Terry has over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors including preparation of local and regional comprehensive plans, water supply plans, water quality and environmental resource management plans.  Terry has worked at the state, regional and local government levels and held senior level positions with private consulting companies.  Terry has a demonstrated talent for facilitating solutions from diverse groups in development of community and regional plans embraced by decision makers and stakeholders. Terry has a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Geography and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development.  He is a certified planner (AICP) and project manager (PMP) and is author of the book, Project Management for Planners: A Practical Guide published by the American Planning Association (ISBN 1-884829-63-5).

The Story of StaffConnections, LLC

When Terry first seriously considered opening a business, he realized it would take some time and energy away from his family and that simply making money was not important enough to justify the commitment. In discussions with his wife Susie, they both agreed that starting and growing StaffConnections, LLC had to provide something more meaningful than only money. Terry remembered his Dad taking only him on a trip when he was young and how much he enjoyed spending that special time with his Father.

This memory provided the motivation for Terry to commit to starting StaffConnections, LLC in 2001 - he would use the additional income from StaffConnections, LLC to take individual trips with his two sons Sam and Max and do whatever they wanted to do. With Max, Terry went dog sledding in northern Minnesota, snorkeling in Bimini, trail riding in northern Michigan and attended the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles.  Sam wanted to go to New York City for each of his trips. These were not your typical tourist trips to the Big Apple. Terry and Sam went to a driving range facing the Hudson River, went bowling, rode a ferris wheel in the Toys-R-Us on Times Square and saw the Broadway play Spamalot.

In 2005, Terry, after receiving full support from Susie, left the South Florida Water Management District to commit fulltime to StaffConnections, LLC beginning a period of strong growth providing services to public, private and nonprofit organizations.
